We are looking forward to welcoming you all to a new school year!  Students will receive most of their supplies at school; however, the following items are recommended for our students to bring during the first week of school.

We recommend that all students bring earbuds or headphones to school.  However, we DO NOT recommend that you send students to school with expensive ones (Beats, Airpods, etc) The school is not liable if these items are lost, broken, or stolen.  

To help start the school year off successfully, we recommend:

• Establishing a regular schedule for your student(s) based on the schedule provided by the school;

• Creating a study space that is conducive to learning;

• Reading all school communications and updating contact information as it changes.  Our main method of communication will continue to be by email. Please check the main ACPS page for updates from the county;

• Encouraging independence, but recognize that this format may be challenging for your child and continue to support developing organizational skills and strategies with your student;

• Checking ParentPortal to monitor your students' work completion;

• Assisting your child in maintaining contact with friends, 

• Encouraging physical activity to provide balance, stress relief, and time away from screens.
